This is quite incredible news to share today! I just heard back that my film will be a part of the Official Selection of Faith Fest! This is our 7th film festival I’ve received recognition for and this one feels as one of the most impactful. Since it is a festival based on Faith, read more below on the background of this festival and upcoming events.

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

FAITH FEST is a celebration of creative, faith-based artistic expression. We are a Christian festival highlighting and honoring inspirational and faith-based films and screenplays! Selected films will be featured in thematic viewing blocks in a fun, spirit-filled weekend in Southern California!

WHAT’S NEXT

This year is especially different with the recently ended WGA and ongoing SAG-AFTRA strikes as Faith Fest is still waiting to finalize programming and details. The upcoming event has been set for January 2024, stay tuned as we’ll announce more detials as we get them!

It’s awesome to be a part of a festival that not only has the live screening event but has programs, networking and workshops for fellow filmmakers to be a part of. They offer in-person or virtual networking opportunities including panels with industry professionals, table reads, and scene re-enactments.

For top performing writers they may receive a personal invitation from the festival director to participate in a writing group or complimentary workshop series to further develop or expand existing or new work. Many workshop participants go on to option their work and some have tightened their scripts and garnered attention from managers and agents.

That’s the overview of Faith Fest and thanks for reading! I could’t be more proud of the feedback my film The Lost Jews of Pakistan has been able to have so far. I’m looking forward to warming more hearts with my story this year and next and many years after. Escpecially with everything going on in the world today, the conflicts in Israel and Palestine, I’m praying for peace and harmony. I hope this film serves as a beacon of light in religious conflict like this, to see that we can look past our differences and honor each other as equals.
