Incredible news coming from New York City! The Manhattan Film Festival just announced that our film The Lost Jews of Pakistan, has been officially nominated as a Finalist for their Short Film Category.

This festival is even more special as most of us all know, getting recognition from festivals based in New York is rare. As the competition and talent is top-notch, so I’m very grateful that we actually got to the Finalist stage, compared to being just another Official Selection.

Also the awesome part about this festival is they hold a live event right here in Manhattan where I live. So I’d like for you to read below if you live in the city and would like to join us for their event next month!

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

Founded by two independent filmmakers who learned first-hand how hard it can be to find an independent film an audience, Manhattan Film Festival has become one of the largest, truly independent film festivals in the world. MFF has a seventeen-year history of fearless programming.

Hosted in the media capital of the world, they have never backed down, and will always defend and promote the creative freedom of independent filmmakers.

THEIR UPCOMING EVENT

The 18th annual Manhattan Film Festival will again be hosted at Cinema Village just steps from Union Square. The famous Cinema Village marquee has been featured in film and television productions including Martin Scorsese’s “The Departed” and David Chase’s “The Sopranos.”

MFF just announced they will be hosting the 2024 Manhattan Film Expo. This conference will include film screening, distribution outlets, management agencies, tech companies, a film market, college film programs, headline speakers, and much more!

Every year they work to program a diverse film lineup featuring the industry’s most recognizable names as well as student and emerging talent! They program everything from features, shorts, documentaries, television, web, and new media.

This festival and expo will be such a fun and engaging networking event. I’d like to invite all my friends and family to attend our screening on Monday June 24th, 5pm – 7pm. Here is the link to our film to purchase tickets, which are only $12! https://www.manhattanff.com/view-screening/1950

Thanks again for eveyone who has supported our film so far. It’s been a little over a year it’s been out and I can’t believe how much exposure it’s gotten so far. With that in mind, please go checkout my next restoration project in Pakistan where you can support on my DONATE page.
