This Official Selection hits home for me, the star of my film The Lost Jews of Pakistan! My family and I are of the Islamic faith so it’s quite an honor to be recognized from one of the most reputable film festival for my community. ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
Going on their 5th year, Muslim Film Festival aims to promote inclusion, tolerance, friendship, and introduce Muslim society’s culture and stories to a wider audience.
Their program will reflect the diversity and opportunities within Muslim communities in the West and all over the world, through fiction, animation, and documentary films and our goal is to show films that the audience would otherwise have not seen and left a lasting impact.

The Australian Muslim Film Festival “MFF” awaits you for 4 weekends of independent films made by Muslims, or telling stories about Muslims anywhere in the world, by anyone Muslim or non-Muslim!
Muslim Film Festival 2023 “MFF23” will be held in Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney in October. With the first screening held at THE STATE LIBRARY OF WESTERN AUSTRALIA, Perth
